In springtime's grasp, the flowers bloom, But watch your step—there's mud to zoom! The bees are buzzing, feeling quite bold, While squirrels plot mischief, or so I'm told. The sun peeks out, a cheeky chap, Warming up the world for a sunbather's nap. But beware the pollen, that sneaky foe, One sneeze, and it's a full-on show! The birds are chirping, hosting a choir, But all I hear is their endless desire. To wake me at dawn with their raucous song, As if they think I’ve been sleeping too long! The trees are sprouting their leafy attire, While I’m just trying to find my desire— To wear shorts again, but oh, what a sight, My legs are so pale, they could blind at first light! And then there are allergies, oh what a treat, My nose is a faucet, my eyes can’t compete. I sniffle and sneeze, a real springtime mess, I’m starting to think I’m just nature’s stress test! But despite all the chaos, I still can’t resist, The joy of springtime, it tops the list. So here’s to the blossoms, the laughter, the cheer, And to all the crazy antics that springtime brings near!
